Arts Centre Melbourne and Melbourne Theatre Company are delighted to announce that Richard Bean's riotously funny adaptation, ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS, based on Goldoni's The Servant of Two Masters with songs by Grant Olding will enjoy a Melbourne season from 17 May to 22 June 2013 at Arts Centre Melbourne, Playhouse.

Melbourne Theatre Company's Artistic Director, Brett Sheehy said 'I saw the production in its opening week at The National Theatre last year, and immediately wanted Melbourne to see it. So I was thrilled when Arts Centre Melbourne approached us to partner with them, to make sure that could happen!'

Judith Isherwood, Chief Executive, Arts Centre Melbourne said 'We have always said our ambition is to bring the best theatre in the world to our stages in Melbourne. Our Man, Two Guvnors fits that bill. It's a wonderful show and we're thrilled to give local audiences a chance to see it. I love it and I know they will too".

A National Theatre of Great Britain production, One Man, Two Guvnors is touring Australia and will also be presented by Adelaide Festival between 28 February to 9 March 2013 and at Sydney Theatre Company from 30 March to 11 May 2013.

This sensational British slapstick hit, directed by Nicholas Hytner, received seven 2012 Tony nominations and was awarded Best New Play in the 2011 Critics' Circle Award. It is currently running in the West End and on Broadway where it received the Outer Critics' Circle Award for Outstanding New Broadway Play 2012.

Tickets to One Man, Two Guvnors can be purchased as part of a Melbourne Theatre Company subscription package from 23 August 2012 following its 2013 Season Launch.
